FlameSkill hold Lloyds Register of Shipping and Det Norsk Veritas (DNV) certification in accordance with IACS Unified Requirements (UR) Z17 Revision 2, 1999 for the Service & Maintenance of Fire Extinguishing Systems and Equipment and Maintenance of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.
Fire Fighting Foam Testing
FlameSkill offer a comprehensive foam testing service. We can test all types of foam including protein, fluroprotein, AFFF and FFFP, as well as alcohol resistant types. The foam concentrates are tested for drainage time, expansion ratio as well as confirmation of percentage concentrate involving refractive index messurements. We also carry out alcohol resistance checks.
Workshop
We have a fully equipped workshop enabling all equipment maintenance, testing and refilling to be carried out in-house by fully trained and qualified personnel.
Our workshop procedures are fully documented in our ISO9001:2008 Quality System. We are BAFE approved for the test & refurbishment of Fire Equipment.
