3. Possible Danger

Pressurised containers - Maintenance work should not be carried out on pressurised systems without first shutting air cylinder valves and venting the system to atmosphere.

4. First Aid Measures

First aid: No emergency care is anticipated.

5. Fire Fighting Measures

Fire: Air under pressure may accelerate combustion. Keep oil and grease away. Close valve when not in use and when empty. Contact with flammable materials may cause fire or explosion. Containers may rupture due to heat of fire. No part of a container should be subjected to heat above 52 deg C.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Spillage / leaking Allow cylinder to vent to atmosphere..

7. Handling & Storage

Storage: Store in original compressed gas cylinder, away from heat.

Handling: Protective gloves are recommended for cylinder handling.

8. Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

General: Observe good working practices in handling compressed gas cylinders. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

When two or more gases, or liquefied gases are mixed, their hazardous properties may combine to create additional unexpected hazards. The product is manufactured to be used in fire fighting extinguishers and is not  sold for any other application . If used in training , care should be taken to avoid  excessive discharge into the environment.
